Fitting

The only place where you can test drive and get fitted for arias D-23 irons and M-29 wedges using the actual arias heads in the fitting is at the home of arias golf, in Cornwall, Ontario.

We use Flightscope Tour launch monitor along with several combinations of shafts, swing weights, grip size, in order to optimize your potential as a golfer. Proper shaft length is also tested.

We have most of our club/shaft combinations shafted permanently, this allows us to bend the hosel for different lie angles during the fitting and also to fit golfers for slightly lighter swing weights when possible and warranted.

You also have the option to use either a regular size grip, midsize, jumbo or undersize grip during the fitting. And with 24’ of ball flight and 12’ ceilings you can swing freely along with accurate launch monitor data.

Unable to make it to our location to get fitted? No problem.

Now we realize the vast majority of golfers interested in getting fitted for our zero offset irons and wedges do not live close enough to make it possible to come to Cornwall, Ontario, but don't worry, you can get fitted for the right shaft, the right length, the right lie angle, the right shaft weight, the right swing weight and the right grip size by visiting your nearest reputable clubfitter.

  • Find a clubfitter who has some of the shafts we offer in our shaft selection for you to test.
  • Find one that performs lie fitting this way:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Dq3BiNueFU
  • Do NOT use a clubfitter who uses a lie board in his fittings, they are totally unreliable.
  • Find a clubfitter who can accurately measure the lie angle of an iron head using the scorelines, our D-23 irons and our M-29 wedges were designed, like most quality irons produced by the top manufacturers, with the scorelines engraved so they act as an accurate reference point for lie angle measurement.
  • Your clubfitter should be able to bend the head of the test club back and forth while you hit balls during the fitting to see what lie angle is best for you.
  • Your clubfitter should have you test shafts of different weights, different lengths and different swing weight, this is what makes a club work at the end of the day.
  • We don't recommend you go out on a limb and order our clubs with ultra light shafts unless you have tested irons and wedges with ultra light shafts in the past, countless golfers are lured to the overly marketed hype that lighter iron shafts will produce higher swing speed therefore yield more distance, this will work for some but not for all, if anything, many golfers would benefit from playing heavier weight iron shafts in our experience, not lighter. But again the only way to know this for sure is to get fitted first, we can't stress that enough.
